Ornella (Mariska), an attractive forty-something, has been married for many years to David Dumas , a businessman who is often away. Like all long-lasting couples, they have experienced ups and downs, but Ornella has always done everything she can to ensure their love endures. This morning, as she is having breakfast, Ornella receives a visit from Alexis Meunier. He had responded a few days earlier to Ornella's ad looking for a handyman. Since her husband is frequently away on business trips, she can no longer manage their beautiful villa alone. After a quick interview, Alexis offers to start immediately so she can evaluate him. With the help of Juliette (Anita Rover), the housekeeper, he can tour the property and assess the scope of the tasks. Between deep cleaning, maintaining the garden and the pool, he will have his work cut out for him.
