Tellie is a Mac teleprompter that lives in the notch, right beside your camera – a simple, beautiful tool that highlights your words as you speak them. Designed for creators, presenters, actors, teachers, and anyone who talks while looking at a screen, it transcribes your speech on‑device and matches it against your document to track exactly where you are in the script. The app runs on macOS 14 or later, supporting Apple Silicon Macs.

Instead of traditional teleprompters that only speed up or slow down based on noise, Tellie tracks the actual words you say and waits when you wander off‑script. You can open a script, hit play, and read – it scrolls automatically; click the mic, and Tellie follows your voice word for word, pausing, skipping, and waiting for you when you ad‑lib. Add key marks to your script and Tellie helps you nail every take, even when you go off script. For recording videos, Zoom calls, sales demos, presentations, teaching, and audition prep, Tellie stays invisible to screen sharing and recordings while keeping your talking points right beside the camera – so your audience sees you, not your notes.
