Kurzbeschreibung:

Marilyn Manson ist eine US-amerikanische Rockband, die 1989 von Marilyn Manson und Daisy Berkowitz in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, gegründet wurde. Ursprünglich bekannt als Marilyn Manson & the Spooky Kids, erlangte die Gruppe in ihren frühen Jahren durch Theater-Live-Auftritte lokale Berühmtheit; 1993 unterschrieb Marilyn Manson als erste Gruppe bei Nothing Records, gegründet von Nine Inch Nails-Frontmann Trent Reznor. Bis 1996 wurde das Pseudonym jedes Mitglieds der Gruppe zusammengestellt, indem einerseits die Namen von Sexsymbolen und andererseits die Namen berühmter Krimineller hinzugefügt wurden; so wurden insbesondere der Name der Gruppe selbst und das Pseudonym ihres Frontmanns zusammengestellt. Die Zusammensetzung des Teams, mit Ausnahme von Manson selbst, änderte sich sehr oft.
