Hinter Julie Clingstons hübschem Gesicht verbirgt sich ein teuflisches Hirn. Drei junge College-Mädchen sollen ihre Opfer werden. Sie lädt die Mädchen und ihre Freunde in das abgelegene Haus von Professor Brake ein und will an ihnen die neueste, modernste Horrormaschine ausprobieren. Clingstons Computer "Apache" genannt, kann kleine Silberkugeln verschießen, die sich in den Köpfen der Besucher festsetzen und die furchtbarsten Veränderungen hervorrufen. Die jungen Leute werden wahnsinning, die Haare fallen aus, die Augen treten hervor, die Gesichter mutieren zu grauenvollen Fratzen. Schließlich beginnt die Haut zu schmelzen. In diesem Moment kommt Jessica, die junge Tochter des Professors, nach Haus. Clingstone hat längst die Kontrolle über "Apache" verloren. Es gibt nur eine Rettung: Jessica muß ihren Computer gegen "Apache" aktivieren. Es bleiben nur Sekunden, bis sich die gräßlichen Mutanten auf sie stürzen....
