Medieval Engineers ist ein weiterer Titel der Macher von Space Engineers, Keen Software House. Und nicht nur die Namen aehneln sich, auch das Gameplay von Medieval Engineers ist das Altbekannte: Spieler tragen Resourcen ab und bauen damit Objekte statt Raumschiffe und Raumstation aus Asterioderz werden allerdings Burgen und Belagerungswaffen aus Holz und Bodenschaetzen erschaffen. Mit dabei ist wieder die Voxelgrafik von Space Engineers, die besonders realistische Landschaftsverformung darstellt anders als Minecraft beispielsweise.
