Kurzbeschreibung:

The premier Norwegian audiophile label 2L (Lindberg Lyd) presents 'The Nordic Sound', a breathtaking reference compilation that stands out as a monument in high-resolution multi-channel audio production. Known globally for their uncompromising spatial recording techniques, 2L showcases a magnificent selection of classical masterpieces, contemporary Nordic compositions, and traditional arrangements. Featuring stellar performances by the Trondheimsolistene, Kristiansand Symfoniorkester, Ensemble 96, and soloists like Ola Gjeilo, this collection ranges from the classical elegance of Mozart and Haydn to the evocative modern textures of Nordheim and Nystedt.

This reference-grade Pure Audio Blu-ray release delivers the ultimate sonic experience, featuring the complete, untouched BDMV directory structure. Sourced entirely from the original high-definition DXD (24-bit/352.8 kHz) master tapes, the disc offers three discrete, ultra-high-bitrate options at an incredible 24-bit/192kHz resolution: immersive 5.1 DTS-HD Master Audio, uncompressed 5.1 LPCM surround, and a flawless 2.0 LPCM stereo track. The presentation yields a completely transparent holographic soundstage, infinite micro-dynamic shading, and an astonishingly lifelike acoustic realism that perfectly captures the natural, ambient decay of Norway's historic stone churches. A mandatory crown jewel for high-end multi-channel setups and serious classical music collectors.
